Lawatan ke Thomas Town | 15.10.2017 - Tabika Kemas Al-Falah mengadakan lawatan ke Thomas Town yang terletak di Puteri Harbour. Kami ibu bapa tidak ikut, hanya murid sahaja.
Thomas Town amat sesuai untuk kanak-kanak bersekolah Tabika, lingkungan umur 4 hingga 6 tahun ni. Banyak aktiviti yang menyeronokkan disediakan di sini.


Gambar yang cikgu whataps. Cik Aisyah tak begitu minat bermain yang lasak-lasak ni. Memang begitu pun dia.


Antara gambar beramai-ramai. Cik Aisyah lari bila Barney datang. Sampai menangis-nangis pula tu. Apa dia ingat Barney ni raksasa ke?

Putu Bambu Juriah Ayer Hitam | Kesedapan putu bambu di sini telah lama diperkatakan ramai. Sejak dari zaman sebelum wujudnya VIRAL. Dulu, dia cuma berniaga di tepi jalan. Di tepi jalan di lokasi yang sama. Zaman saya belum ada kereta 8 tahun lalu pun ia sudah ada sebab lokasinya berdekatan dengan stesen bas.

Otw pulang ke JB dari kampung halaman, kami singgah la sekejap untuk merasai sendiri putu bambu ni. Masa parking, tidak berapa ramai meskipun perlu beratur. Tidak lama kemudian, panjang giler orang beratur di belakang kami. Cuaca panas melenting pun tidak mematahkan semangat mereka untuk beratur tau.

Kenangan Aidiladha 1438H


Untuk membeli putu bambu ini, perlu beratur di kaunter. 1 set ada 6 pcs berharga RM3. Tak silap sayalah (terlupa pula).


Inillah dia Putu Bambu Juriah yang fofuler tu. Kami beli 2 set. Panas-panas lagi ni. Sempat juga masuk mulut seketol. Sedap. Kelapa dia melimpah ruah, tak kedekut.


Lokasinya di lampu trafik simpang 4 menghala ke Kluang. Memang nampaklah kedai ni dari jauh.

Junior Chef Cooking Competition With Ayam Brand | 01.08.2017 - Saya mendapat undangan untuk menghadiri program amal anjuran Ayam Brand di Johor Bahru. Objektif  sebenar boleh baca di SINI dan SINI


Dengan tagline "We Care, We Are Family", kempen amal bersambung di Johor Bahru pula di mana Ayam Brand menganjurkan pertandingan memasak menggunakan produk Ayam Brand.

Pertandingan ini disertai oleh rumah-rumah kebajikan di Johor iaitu Rumah Anak anak Yatim Shafar (RAYS), Pertubuhan Kebajikan Anak-anak Yatim Islam Kota Tinggi (PKAYI), Asrama Kebajikan Ar-Rayyan (AKAR), Pertubuhan Kebajikan Insan Istimewa Johor Bahru (PKII), Rumah Barkat (PKAY) dan Gateway Community Centre (GCC).

Majlis dimulakan dengan ucapan pembukaan.


Diikuti ucapan dari Mr. Nicholas Nyeow selaku Ayam Brand Representative. Beliau sempat memperkenalkan beberapa produk Ayam Brand yang hangat di pasaran.


Sesi bergambar untuk semua peserta dan wakil pertubuhan masing-masing. 


Trofi yang bakal dimenangi. Tempat ke-3, ke-2 dan pertama. Nak tahu siapa pemenangnya? Kena baca sampai habis.


Maka, bermulalah pertandingan. Semua peserta diberi masa selama 15 minit untuk menyediakan hidangan mengikut citarasa dan kreativiti masing-masing. Jom kita lihat kegigihan mereka dalam menyediakan makanan dan hasilnya.

Six charity homes in Johor Bahru receive two months’ supply of products

Johor Bahru, August 1, 2017 - Ayam Brand™, famed for its wide range of healthy and convenient, preservative-free canned products is celebrating its 125th anniversary with a nationwide initiative themed, ‘We Care, We Are Family’. The anniversary celebration coincides with the 10th consecutive Ayam Brand™ Charity Campaign. This year’s charity campaign will reach 60 charity homes in 11 locations across Malaysia and Brunei, providing 324,000 healthy meals for charity.

Over ten years the Ayam Brand™ Charity Campaign has benefitted close to 18,000 people from 422 charity organizations - providing them with 1,080,000 healthy meals!
  
The sixty charity homes, 57 from across Malaysia and 3 from Brunei Darussalam received Ayam Brand™ tuna, mackerel, kernel corn, processed peas, sardines and baked beans sufficient for daily meals for all residents for two months. Close to 1,800 children, disabled and old folks will benefit from this sustained aid.

In addition to the much-needed contribution of its food products, the annual corporate social responsibility program also introduces new activities every year to keep children engaged, educated and involved to cultivate healthy eating habits and creativity. Among the past activities for children include cooking demonstrations, cooking competitions, cooking workshops and art competitions.

This year’s campaign was made livelier and more competitive with Ayam Brand™ Junior Chef cooking competition. Themed ‘We Care, We Are Family’, the cooking competition requires teams of two children to prepare, plate and serve a family-favourite dish using Ayam Brand™ products.



The campaign is in-line with the Ministry of Health Malaysia’s efforts to fight obesity by educating and encouraging children to make informed food choices.

In Johor, the recipients include Rumah Anak-anak Yatim Shafar, Pertubuhan Kebajikan Anak-anak Yatim Islam Kota Tinggi, Asrama Kebajikan Ar-Rayyan, Pertubuhan Kebajikan Insan Istimewa Johor Bahru, Pertubuhan Kebajikan Anak-anak Yatim Johor, and Gateway Community Centre.

Due to current economic conditions charity homes have been facing shortages as donations from corporations and individuals have fallen.  Ayam Brand™’s continued support is timely.

Ms Norita Binti Bisni from Pertubuhan Kebajikan Anak-anak Yatim Johor, who spoke on behalf of the recipient homes in Johor said that the contribution from Ayam Brand™ was appreciated as it extended the variety of the residents’ regular diet, and was fast and convenient to prepare.

“Donations and contributions are not as high as last year making Ayam Brand™’s contribution a lifesaver for us. The children enjoy Ayam Brand™ products as much as we do because it is healthy and convenient. They have enjoyed this cooking competition tremendously,” said Ms Norita.

“The children enjoy the tuna as it is something different from our usual diet, and we are happy that we are able to provide a healthy option to our usual fare,” added Ms Norita.

The campaign coincides with Ayam Brand™’s 125th anniversary which is themed ‘We Care, We Are Family’.

Since its inception a decade ago, the annual charity campaign by Ayam Brand™ has benefited close to 18,000 people from 422 charity organization.

The campaign will continue in Johor Bahru with homes from Johor, namely Rumah Anak anak Yatim Shafar, Pertubuhan Kebajikan Anak-anak Yatim Islam Kota Tinggi, Asrama Kebajikan Ar-Rayyan, Pertubuhan Kebajikan Insan Istimewa Johor Bahru, Rumah Barkat and Gateway Community Centre.
